Esequiel is a seasoned risk management leader with a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering exceptional results. At Compass Risk Services, he oversees the risk advisory and client support team, providing expert guidance on operational risk, insurance, and claims management to our clients. He plays a critical role in diverse projects including insurance renewals, risk assessments, policy reviews, premium allocation, RFPs, etc.
Esequiel is a licensed risk manager and holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, and has experience with multinational client environments. Passionate about the advancement of the risk management profession, Esequiel is a founding director of Young Risk Professionals, serves on the Texas/SE Associate Board of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF), is an active member of RIMS as a key member of the Dallas/Ft. Worth chapter’s Education Committee, a board member of the Society of Risk Management Consultants (SRMC), currently serves on the board of directors of the Surplus Lines Stamping Office of Texas (SLTX), and was named one of 2015’s “Best Insurance Professionals under 40” by PropertyCasualty360.com.
Esequiel earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of North Texas, where he was also a charter member of the Beta Zeta Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma, the highly regarded risk and insurance professional fraternity.
