Melissa’s professional risk journey began more than a decade ago when she embarked on a path that would lead to a successful career in risk management. She attended Dallas College Brookhaven Campus, and holds a Texas State General Lines Agent (property and casualty) license.

Melissa has experience in a variety of insurance industries, including a commercial electric company, commercial janitorial, a nationwide moving company, and a large residential and a commercial manufacturing and distribution company. Her passion to learn and evolve in risk management frames her work for clients as Risk Management Associate for Compass Risk Services. 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Melissa has volunteered for several organizations over the years, including Feed My Starving Children, Operation Warm, Salvation Army, The Family Place, and several animal rescue organizations.
